Card of the Day
Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands
Light, Level 4, [Fairy/Effect]
ATK: 1400, DEF: 1000
IOC-088, Common (Pictured: 1st Edition)

"When this card is Normal Summoned or Flip Summoned, you can select 1 Ritual Monster Card or 1 Ritual Spell Card from your Deck and add it to your hand."

And now for the card which makes Sonic Bird and Senju all but obsolete and single-handedly restored Ritual decks to a state of respect -- Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands. In the OCG, he is called Manju God, and for good reason. Once you've played him in a Ritual deck, you'll understand his power.

Manju is something of a fusion between Sonic Bird and Senju of the Thousand Hands. He allows you to search out either a Ritual Monster OR a Ritual Spell Card. This situationally adapts to what you need, so it is only a poor draw if you've already obtained both cards (even then, though, his 4 stars come in handy as Ritual tribute). Whereas you might have been tempted to run four of Sonic Bird and Senju given the room in a deck, two Manju are usually more than enough. He also can be combined with his lesser counterparts if necessary.

It's a bit of a shame that Manju doesn't also boast higher statistics than his brother Senju, but this is somewhat understandable given the increased power of his effect. Also, like with Senju and Sonic Bird, his ability to duck under Messenger of Peace might prove useful when locked by a burn deck. 1450 ATK and 1500 DEF would still be more ideal in that case, though.

This card gets a perfect 10/10 for all Ritual decks! You won't want to run a Ritual deck without this card, period. It took us a long time to get it, as it is part of the recent Invasion of Chaos set, and to overlook it now would be to hold your deck back in a sort of dark age where Ritual Summons are mostly a thing of legend.
